About Me

My photo
brink
Growing up in South Africa has given me a unique perspective on the world elsewhere. Adventurous travel has been fueled by a fascination for art, God and people. The delicate details within design constantly enthrall me so hand shaping surfboards is an everyday execution of those things and more creating something that can empower a riders vision. I refer to my role as a functional artist, always designing with intention and being committed to excellence seems obvious when one gathers so much joy from such tasks. My studies along the way have always been to add to a current interest and further opportunity. Being brave enough and willing to be wrong is a freeing stance I believe and one from which I can explore possibility and challenge concepts in pursuit of freedom.
